This is one of the numerous structures outside the main temple of Angkor. I wasn’t able to find out its function or purpose owing to the fact that I had no tour guide to explain the essence of its existence. So, curious! It is however, a sight to behold.
Placed at both ends of the middle causeway of Angkor Wat’s main tower are these two structures known as the Library of the King and the Queen.
The Five Towers of Angkor Wat are only visible in certain angles. To see the full glory of this architectural cum religious masterpiece, descend from the steps of the right side terrace before the causeway, walk along the moat until you find the perfect spot.
